Dantonio is a great coach. Seems pretty ingrained at msu though.

 

He won 9 games two out of his last three seasons.

Give me Gruden or Kelly. If not them, let me take a crack at it.

 

He doesn't strike me as the chickenshit type. He's not running from harbaugh.

But even if he left, he's more likely to go to South Carolina than Tennessee.

 

What about Bill O' Brien

 

Doubt he gets fired after this season, but yeah I'd take him.

 

I don't want him at Tennessee. Rather see him at UVA.

At this point would Patterson even consider leaving Ft. Worth?

 

For Tennessee? No.

 

Patterson is 2 for me. I just like the guy.

 

I'm going to guess no since he hasn't left already, but it does seem a little strange.

 

Kelly just doesn't lose to bad teams. I like that.

 

I will say this for Gruden and Kelly. Both are going to demand COMPLETE control of whatever program they are at. As an Eagle fan, it was amazing to see Kelly win a power struggle with our long time General Manager and owner's pet, Howie Roseman. He has promptly ran the team into the ground but he would definitely win championships here.

As for Gruden, he may be the biggest control freak out there. Remember the rumor during the last go around? He allegedly carries with him a memorandum that any team he signs with must abide by that gives him absolute power.

Is this something you think administration would go for?

 

Guys - Tennessee will go big. Forget another MAC/C-USA guy. Tennessee demands a former National Championship winner, and Cheek/Hart will deliver. WE gonna get Gene Chizik to get us back to the promised land!
