kindof. But neither of them had won much as a head coach either. Butch has won.

 

Our program is so far in the dumps, that we can't risk losing top ten recruiting class after top ten recruiting class. He gets 4 years, at minimum, with those kinds of results. Only then would we be able to get someone better, with a stocked cupboard.

Getting rid of Butch would be disastrous, on so many levels.

I'm surprised someone actually needs this told to them.

 

ron zook went to the rose bowl. kiffin won 10 games in the pac-12. butch hasn't done anything nearly as impressive as that.

 

has someone suggested he should be fired? or are you telling us no matter what the results the rest of the season he should get a free pass?

 

I'm not for dumping Butch, but he hasn't done anything remarkable that I feel compelled to be concerned about losing him in the future, yet. Winning a few four way Big East titles doesn't mean a whole lot to me. However, he gets rid of a few bad assistants and my estimation of him goes up.

 

Zook has a losing record as a HC and his rose bowl team went 9-4 in their conference. Butch's team last year wins 9 in that conference, and we sucked. Kiffin was met on the tarmac and fired because he sucks as a HC. Butch has a much better track record of winning.

 

Excuse me, he recruited a top five class. Does that count?
