If ever. The Fournette stuff is about how he treats DBs. He's no tougher in DBs than Hurd and Hurd mauls LBs.
Maybe. It's not an indictment on Hurd, he's a really good back, can do it all but there are only a few guys in the NFL that I'd take over Fournette.
I don't see how anyone can say he is or isn't. He's not gotten anywhere near the support either Fournette or Chubb have.
Chubb is good to great, but UGA seems to churn out guys that match Herschel's records for two years, then tail off or get suspended. Fournette and Hurd are damn near identical in the height and weight department. Fournette is faster, but it's not by much
Exactly. Half of Hurds carries he is having to carry multiple defenders for two or three yards just to get back to the line of scrimmage.
This horse rap run game where we line him up opposite of where he's running is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
Teams have been simply stunting away from Hurd's starting spot. That has helped Dobbs some, but our passing game has hurt his lanes too. The middle of the field is now essentially empty.
Look, if you put Hurd in Fournette's place his numbers would be at worst marginally different. Take that however you'd like.
