I still don't think luke is the good little boy from the original. I think we see another side of a struggle with the force and power.

 

It's not a new idea. A lot of the EU dealt with it too

 

Good Luke entered. Evil Luke left. Everything that followed was a ruse. Good Luke re-emerges but is misunderstood. Everyone winds up dying, and Episode IX ends with Padme waking up from a nightmare to find Anakin in the shower. JarJar then walks in, breaks the fourth wall, and says, "Mesa thinkin' yousa thinkin' dis is nutsen."
