yeah, but I doubt that's actually how it works. I mean, I would never want to suggest that a model organization like the NCAA would ever intentionally provide lax enforcement on the sport that funds them, and then ramp up the enforcement measures on the sport that gives them nary a dime.

Why did they feel the need to do it? They have great facilities, a Coaching Legend, a rich tradition, a good location, recent success, plenty of attractive coeds to point to, etc. Why did they feel the need to hire some ugly skanky whores for a few minutes of pleasure?
