Man attempts to put out brush fire in van filled with ammo

I like to know his thought process.

 

I'm not sure there was much of it.

As a radio show host said this morning, "Why are we forced to share the world with these people?"

 

Tried to put it out like an oil rig fire

 

there has to be alcohol involved

 

Something had to tell him that it was a good idea. Or he's just flat out stupid.

 

When I was 13 or 14 me and dad were burning brush one day on the farm in the field. It was really windy and dry. I asked him if this was a good idea and he said it was ok. So we finished up and went to eat lunch. Someone came to knock on the door at my Granny's to tell us the field was on fire. So we go back out there and about the time we get there.....WOOSH, a big gust of wind caught it, hit the really dry stuff, and off to the races we go. About 50 burned acres and a forestry department visit later, the fire was estinguished. We were standing there surveying the damage and I looked at him and said "I told you so." Pretty sure the only reason he didn't kill me on the spot is because Mom and Granny were standing there with us, primarily Granny.

Greenest grass you've ever seen in your life the next spring though.

 

Fire is great for that, I'd burn my yard off if it would catch my house on fire.

 

I'd burn my yard and start from scratch in a heartbeat if I could.

 

i get calls from my neighbors thinking my house is on fire when I use my smoker. I can't imagine what would happen if I lit my lawn on fire.

 

I have a back pack flame thrower for clearing fence lines. I'm should it would do the job

 

My "yard" needs it bad!

 

That just sounds fun.

 

I get comments asking me what smells so good.

A leaf blower, a propane tank and torch makes a decent one

 

I need to know more about this. Sounds like a good tool to burn weeds off a garden in the Fall.

 

I had the exact same experience when I was 12, but we got lucky and got it under control again before it got up into the trees. The only difference is I didn't have any maternal units around so I got the beating for it.
