Netflix Streaming Recommendations/TV Talk

I will give BG a go soon, I believe.

ST DS9 is my favorite Star Trek. TNG was for a while, but DS9 has more depth to the characters. I also liked Voyager as well.

I watched the movie that was based off of Firefly, and was overly impressed. Maybe the series was better though?

 

I love Supernatural. Tip of the hat to float for recommending it.

 

I'm almost through all 8 seasons. Lots of wasted, but well used, time.

 

I honestly think bsg is one of the best shows of all time

I kind of hate voyager. The later tng are as good as ds9, but ds9 has more of a storyline.

The series is better. It's short though and ends before the storyline is complete

 

What's supernatural?

 

In fact, I have come up with a wonderful drinking game while watching Supernatural. Every time Sam or Dean scoffs, you must take a shot. If someone other than Sam or Dean scoffs, you have to take a double shot.

Read the description and it sounds terrible. Of course I thought the same about Battlestar galactica (as I said one of my favorite shows ever) and the walking dead so I'll give it a try.

 

It's a CW series, that's about two brothers killing demons, trying to stop the apocolypse, fighting with angels, killing monsters, ect. It's well done, and is an entire story line going from the first episode to the last episode of the current season. Probably one of my favorite shows I have watched.

 

TV show about 2 brothers that come from a family of "hunters" of all things supernatural. It has comedy mixed in as well. The first 2-3 seasons were money. The ltter seasons were at least interesting, but not to the degree of the first few. The current season has kinda gone bizzarro world with the LRPing episode and especially with the Wizzard of Oz episode. That one was really stupid, imho.

I agree with this. I've not watched any of Season 9 yet, but I'm hoping it gets better than 8. Still love the story lines though.

Supernatural is sweet, but I've only seen the first two seasons.

 

The only season of Battlestar galactica that isn't spectacular is the final one and even that is pretty good. The pilot, though, doesn't really reflect the rest of the series so I think a lot of people give up on it too early.

 

It's something I plan on giving a try eventually.

 

I've seen too many folks speak highly of BSG to not give it a try.

You've watched the 24 series, right? If not, that's a must show to watch.
