Feels like this taunting absurdity is a continuation of the weird attempt the NFL has been making to appeal to soccer moms. It’s like how every single draft pick has to come with some sad story no matter how exploitative or condescending. “The Blind Side” theory.

It’s honestly a fireable offense. I know that a lot of coaches, even on the NFL level, are terrible at game management, but this was beyond the pale.
