I don't dislike Tig Notaro, but her standup was never great, IMO. But this show is legit great - and she's great in it. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else caught it yet? Have never seen it, but will watch based on your recommendation will demand vengeance if I am not pleased.
Fair. She plays herself, and has to go back home to Mississippi in the wake of her mother's unexpected passing. ProTip: check out the songs she uses in her radio show - she's got good taste in music, too. It's classified as a "traumady" and that's pretty accurate. There's only two seasons and I watched both in 2 nights.
