Roughly speaking, it's in the lake.

 

I know where it happened, as I was swinging my arm back while hopping in the boat and my ring clanked against the rope tie off thing on the front just right and popped off, could have taken my finger with it.

 

I lost 2 wedding rings first 6 months of marriage. Havent had one since, 25 years later

 

Well, ACHTHUALLY...

It would probably take a full can of WD40 to get mine off on a good day.

 

I had some kind of metal one that got hung on an I joist and damn near ripped my finger off. I went to target and got the rubber ones, two pack for $15. I've lost a few of those but it's better than a nub

Brood X cicadas are out and it truly is amazing. not as majestic as a salmon run or caribou migration, but still.

 

This isn't a gas shortage, it's an irrational hording spike.

 

The same people hoarding toilet paper are running to gas stations.

 

Same people that try to cut line at double lane drive throughs. All should be deported.

 

Maybe deported to the Pacific garbage patch.

 

Colonial is firing the pipeline back up today.

 

As soon as I find some more grocery bags to fill with gas too...

 

I've got 5 styrofoam chests full in my trunk, so I should be good to go for next time

 

The people filling up coolers and bags ought to have to drink it now.

 

In a couple of days you see the listings on Facebook marketplace. "5 Styrofoam chest with high quality gasoline. Must purchase as set. $800"

 

Went big time, by not just filling up the trunk, I see.

 

Wifi at the place I'm staying at is so blatantly SSL stripping, that I've having to use the next hotel over's Wifi.
