We have students walking in the middle of the street here at campus with their heads buried in their phones. I am all for people having fun, but don't die over a game you won't remember in 2 months.
Pokémon was at its peak when I was in kindergarten and first grade. Thought it was for losers then and my position has not changed.
F y'all, it's awesome. My group of friends played the games on Gameboys growing up, so we had a blast with it this weekend.
I was in 1st or 2nd grade when I got my first Pokemon game and cards so I'm guilty of downloading it. It's surprisingly fun but i mostly play when I walk my dog around the neighborhood if the servers are even working. It's a pretty big hit in the 18-25 demographic
There is no shame in playing it. Dooz just thinks video games are for kids, and more power to him. Just don't be stupid about playing it. Look up from your phone and for the love of god don't walk down the middle if the road looking for pokemon. Oh, and the Holocaust museum says "don't play here." Amazes me people would need to be told this.
Also, I am counting down the days to where businesses can buy "pokeball centers" or "gyms" for their store. Nintendo has been printing money off this thing the last week.
My granny was recently telling me about my aunts new car, "Lord have mercy!, you can talk to that thang."
