    My grandma listens religiously. I've only listened once, voluntarily. I listened to Louisville the night of the anonymous "riots"/mischief. Whatever it was called when they all wore masks and acted a fool.

    So I found this on Wikipedia:

    Take it for what it's worth.

    Basically says that these codes were invented in the 1930's. Radios were vacuum tubes and it took a second or so for them to power up. Not uncommonly the first word would be lost. So the 10 was put in front of the code.
