If the race had been held on Sunday with perfect weather, you would still have been shocked by the sparse crowd. Of course there would have been literally tens of thousands more, but there would have been well less than 50% of capacity. I have grave concerns for the future of BMS.
Indycar.com is streaming Alonso's first test session at IMS. He's ran 96 laps so far with a best lap of 222.548.
Saw the video on YouTube, and he looked very smooth, never really seemed to be over his comfort zone. I would guess he was just a little over nine tenths at most. No drama whatsoever.
Hahaha!! Ricky gets to take it in deep tonight and come out sliding. Always like to see first time.winner/
Hope you enjoy this piece like I did. http://historymysteryman.com/meet-the-real-tony-stewart-racing-icon-sharing-a-day-with-a-dying-man/
Awesome story. Tony is as good as they come. It's a shame the media hangs all over the negative and rarely reports on any of the positive things that he does.
SeaBass with a scary crash during qualifying. He has multiple pelvic fractures and a right hip fracture.
Was quite sad to hear the news about The Kentucky Kid, Nicky Hayden, yesterday. Such a loss. I hate it when these guys who cheat death for a living, like Hayden and Schumacher, end up losing their lives or overall health to things like bicycle or skiing accidents.
Yep. If the car had rotated a bit more before it hit the wall, he probably wouldn't have walked away.
