Tornado hit an Amazon warehouse in Southern Illinois. Being described as a “mass casualty event.”

 

3 major 24 hour news channels, and none of them are covering these events. This is where they could actually be useful and raise awareness nationally so we can organize assistance after the storm

 

Tornado has been on the ground for 250 miles.

Reports saying the wind in Mayfield hit 303 mph and the town is "lost". Hit Bowling Green just minutes ago.

I will be extremely happy when this thing passes.

 

I’m in Bowling Green right now. I’m certainly lucky relatively speaking, but the [uck fay]?

 

Everything I’m seeing and hearing seems to indicate BG got smacked pretty bad, and extremely close to the hotel I’m in. They evacuated us out of our rooms, and we lost power. Back in room now but still no power

 

CBS affiliate in Louisville says at least 50 dead in Mayfield, KY.

Poor lady 2 houses down had her dining room windows blown out, and she’s in her 80s. Husband passed a few months ago.

 

Looks like there was something which hit about a mile and a half north of me, in Madison. Power out up there in places.

 

Wife hasn’t surveyed yet, but we definitely took some damage. Looks like fence is [uck fay]ed along with some gutter damage. Not sure if it was straight line or a weakish tornado, since we are really close to where one was confirmed

 

Mayfield got destroyed. Absolutely destroyed.
