    Probably.

Tyler Smith supposedly kept a loaded pistol in his car because of him

And how many were even reported to have been contacted?

THAT is what pisses me off.

I claim ignorance on most of his history before he arrived in Knoxville. I've never been a huge basketball fan, in general.

The first game I ever watched, start to finish, was the '02 upset of Kentucky at TBA...which also is the very first game I attended.

And that's a problem --whether he wins here or not. (I think he is moderately successful)

Not referring to anyone here, for the record, just something I've noticed.

Didn't think you were referring to me. No worries.

It's crazy how much more you hear/know when you're on campus. I knew he was a thug but that's a whole other level.

Edit: I sort of assumed you were a student during this time but I don't actually know.

Compare that to a guy who could have saved his job by firing his assistants this weekend and chose instead to be a man and take responsibility for his program.

One guy on that list would even consider UT now and he's been a head coach for all of two years.

Most people here have never been a fan of him

Most people who fall into the category I described probably wouldn't fit in as members here.

Think Hat hit on something important. I believe there's something to be said for a coach taking responsibility for his actions. A lot of coaches look for an assistant to take the fall for their inability to win games or as we saw with Tyndall, to take the fall for cheating. This guy is given an ultimatum and chooses to do what a lot of coaches don't have the balls to do.
