How many of those 10 conference losses were against NCAA Tournament teams?

    If they stay healthy, yes.

Who is comparing Martin to Howland?

They were 3-3 in-conference against teams that didn't make the tournament.

    Not sure about that.

I'll take that as a roundabout way of saying the answer is seven.

"He missed the tourney twice, which is what our current coach that we're talking about firing just did."

The "he" is Howland and the "current coach" is Martin. Pretty simple.

It likely won't matter. History says UT will simply go look for the polar opposite. So, we'll go hire some loudmouth ratball devotee who wins the conference tournament in the Southland or some other bottom tier league while Georgia hires Howland.

westbrook is a loss waiting to happen. They went to the final 4 with love and westbrook's ass trying to be a guard.

That Memphis team was also the best team in the country that season. It was far more than Rose and CDR. Knocking a regional W is absurd.

UT would have been all over Andy Enfield if they were looking last year.

    No doubt.

I'm still not sure what I think of Love as a player. His rebounding and passing are my kind of work, but his infatuation with the 3 is wasteful and the fact he's still never been in the playoffs tells me his numbers are due in part to the Antoine Carr Effect.

Best outlet passer since Bill Walton.

    And he makes the threes.

If they can get some bench help they'll make the playoffs this year

I don't think either of the two is a winner. Both are talents. Both shoot percentages south of the Mendoza because shot selection and thinking rival that of Carmelo.

Yep, all 36% of them. Then again, for a 45% career shooter overall that's not too bad.
