You can answer all of those for yourself, OE. And are quite adept at it. Answer them from the other side. You're still on the same "team" - just driving to the opposite endzone.
Ill volley for team card 1.) Theodicy problem-God cannot be almighty and good since ultimately he is responsible for evil. 2.) God cannot be almighty and allow free will. If God did not know your actions he would not be omnipotent. 3.) Supernatural explainations of the world over natural ones. 4.) "God" runs in families 5.) The supernatural cannot be tested and measured 6.) The contradictory nature of the Bible 7.) What do you believe you cannot prove?
Tartarus imo. I'm thinking Tantalus type punishment. Something like a loudspeaker pumping neverending sermons from a backwoods Primitive Baptist or Pentacostal preacher with noise eliminating headphones perpetually just out of reach.
I have a question that has plagued me recently, and am seeking a real answer. We take God, in the Christian sense, to be all powerful, correct? As in, capable of anything? Can, therefore, God die? And if not, is He truly all powerful?
Better yet, the coochie cutter wearing male bible camp counselor who was there to talk with you.........alone in the cabin.
True. Not sure why people get hung up on these hypothetical questions. Just extending the sentence by two words solves these dilemmas: God can do anything he wants.
Seriously, not being jerkish. If you accept the christian godhead the three is one. Good question though, God has always been around with no creator.
