I wonder what percentage of that 13.7 million has come from all the normal people doing it on Facebook.

 

I believe I heard there were 390,000 new donors. That's about an average of 30-35 dollars each. So, I'm guessing a fair amount of the 13.7 million was from that but bumped up by some very large donations.

Just out of curiosity, how many on here have been affected in some way by ALS ?

 

One of my good friends mom died of it. We were young though so at the time us kids just knew she was sick, not so much about the disease itself.
