Why did you and your multiple friends need clarification about why something said by not you to not you was a threat? Hypocritical--i do not think it means what you think it means.
I didn't "need" it in the sense that some sort of impending action depended on it. I "needed" clarification in order to understand what was being implied. No need to manufacture drama. We can just wait until the next time you feel tradition is under attack or whatever.
