It’s the least he can do when he starts his presentation with “Let me tell you why everything you know is wrong…”.
For anyone keeping score at home, the presentation went great, everyone loved the food, and we have multiple (3) follow up meetings scheduled to discuss various items discussed during the presentation. ╭∩╮(︶︿︶)╭∩╮
Not sure if you’re being serious or just talking shit. But I am who I am, so I’ll respond. I’m not trying to sell to all 35 people. There are a few decision makers in the room. If they decide to move forward with something, then the site is moving forward with it. It impacts all 35 people, but the majority of them don’t have much of a say in it. We got next steps with those decision makers on 3 different products/topics, and we only truly presented on 1 of the 3. So it’s well over 100%.
"Thank you for your time. You'll get a follow-up call to setup another meeting from my associate here, Mr. Moo."
No, but we also talked about setting up quarterly lunch and learns similar to this one in the future. So there may yet be more Chick Fil A ventures in the future.
The food isn’t her job. My job is to generate baseline interest, handle logistics of the presentation, make sure we get the right people in the room, ensure the content is properly tailored to their interests, and get commitments for positive next steps and follow ups. The food falls into the logistics part of that. My specialist’s job is to credibly present the material and engage with the doctors about guidelines and questions they have. I help out here and there, but as the PhD in the room, she takes the lead on it. I did end up having a couple service people tag along, and they actually helped carry all the food up to the room, which was nice.
Also seems worth noting that I brought a gallon of sweet tea, a gallon of lemonade, and a gallon of half and half. The gallon of half and half was basically gone while the other 2 still had over 3/4 of their contents remaining.
