I was stuck on the idea of a different ending sequence and it kept blinding me from the right one. Wordle - 5 Ooodle - 2 Nerdle - 4
So let's talk strategy, because I see a lot of twos and threes in here, but my strategy gives me a lot of fours and fives but guarantees that I get it. I'll have two starter words, where I'll try to get rid of weird but common letters like k, j, or v, but still use two vowels per word, and try to use two of r, s, t, l, and n per word if I can. Usually that gives me four by the third word and then I have a good idea of where letters should go if they're not already green. Words with pairs of letters are the ones that trip me up most but I can usually sniff them out.
No one is gravitating to 2's. It is just luck as to what starter word one has and the word that day. I used to always start with raise, but has not been as helpful lately. So I have been switching it up. I do similar to what you describe. I usually gravitate towards 4 but rarely miss. Some of the same folks with relatively frequent 2's have misses from falling into rhyme pits
I wouldn’t say I have any particular strategy. Have a couple of words I start with usually, and have 15 more 4s than any other
I have the most of 4's. I do have more 3's than 5 and 6's combined, but I have more 5's than 1 and 2's combined.
