I’m always 95% certain and am being sincere in stating exactly as I describe. While I’m usually wrong, and often badly, what I predict is always based in some realm of real possibility. My efforts at trolling are usually too ham-handed and transparent to be believable, and I get too easily bored with them to keep it up. I think LSU wins tonight - they’re just so dominant on offense and playing at home. I think Clemson has a better and more realistic chance than LSU and some here seem to believe, and that tends to roll back on top of teams when they find themselves in a dog fight. So, Clemson by 7 is what I think.
In terms of trolling, you are like Robert Redford's character in The Natural, except instead of baseball it is trolling and you hating baseball is just an extension of how perfect this analogy is.
If I ask you for $100 and you don’t give it to me, it matters little if it’s because you can’t or won’t. Do you see what I’m saying. You’re saying, well, they could be a more balanced team. They have the ability. I’m saying that they’re playing their 15th game tonight, and the numbers are clear - they are a one dimensional team, and it doesn’t one whit make a damn if it’s because they can do it and just haven’t, or haven’t done it because they can’t, because the end result is the same. You’re dealing in possibility. I’m dealing in reality. You’re speaking to what is or may be. I’m telling you what it has been and is. If they were as equally good at running as you believe, the stats would be more comparable, and they aren’t. At all. By a long damned shot. Whether by choice, blind luck, shrewd strategy or the flipping of a coin - LSU is a one dimensional offense, and you’re badly wrong to believe and assert otherwise.
LSU is the worst kind of balance to stop. Every skilled guy is a NFL and they spread the ball around to everyone. With what might be the best OL in the game. Clemson can beat them but it’s going to be a tough matchup
Rumors that Trevor Lawrence has told folks at Clemson that he’s sitting out next year if he wins tonight, feeling he will have nothing left to prove. If he sits out, we’ll almost certainly get Rogers to transfer next season. So, pull for LSU accordingly, tonight.
Not sure what you mean, I was asking sincerely since Tenny said sit out a year instead of declaring for the draft. I thought he was a junior, which is why I asked.
Quoting Dodgeball movie commentator saying it's a bold move for Lawrence to sit out his junior year, which is what tenny said he may do. Which would be a first and a bold move
It would be dumb, especially for a quarterback. It's even more dumb these guys are basically blackballed from the NFL until they are three years out of highschool, but that is another thread. And I have never seen dodgeball, so that is where the confusion comes from.
