We'll be fine. JG still believes we have 10' WR's though. Also, too much passing on 3rd and short. It's a W though so I'm not complaining too much.
If I’m counting right, we had five third downs of between 2 and 4 yards, and we passed on four of them. That’s way out of balance. but yeah, we got a road win in the SEC in what is going to be a brutal fight for a winning record. I’ll happily take it and move on to Mizzou
Apparently their punter's name is Jeter? I swear they were calling him Kroger all night. EDIT: It is Kroeger, 247 just went with a random backup PK with a way different number
Yes. JG was spoiled by his recievers being able to catch his short yardage high heat last year. He cannot continue to put that much english on throws that should be high percentage passes.
I think getting the monkey off your back is underrated. On the road. SEC game. There were flaws but we advanced. So I can complain...with a smile
Def should have gone for it. This may be pessimistic, but I feel like anytime you've got JG as your starter and are in the thick of it against an SEC foe, you're playing with house money.
This. I'll worry about JG and our weaknesses when we kickoff next week. Parrotting @2Maggitt2Quit from the chat, this was an opportunity that both fans and players knew we couldn't close post-2009 but here we are now seeing a squad do it regularly.
I disagree and can...thankfully we will never know who is right. I drank so much I am going to say we would have won anyway.
Dumb the offense down to whatever Bailey can handle and roll with him against Mizzou. I'd rather watch us run the same 5 plays the rest of the season than see JG attempt another pass at UT.
He was also coming in high as well. Bring some of those passes down and we convert quite a few. But we also refused to run the damn ball (except once and we got stuffed but it’s not like passing was more successful)
Dude is going to be a 6th year senior next year. Sixth. Year. Senior. Call him Doctor Guarantano, please.
