The AD thread.

I lived there as an Undergrad. Took my kids there a few years ago to tour campus and they were tearing it down. Campus looked unrecognizable to me.

 

I woke today knowing we have competent people working together to lead UT athletics and a real life AD star who everyone thinks highly of. IT FEELS DAMNED GOOD!

 

i almost hope he makes a left field hire just to see if he can pull it off. Just to prove it’s about the dang coach and not what everyone wants. And get the hands out of the cookie jar.

 

I don't. I want a current head coach. A current head coach that has a winning track record. A current head coach that has a winning track record against top 25 teams. THAT is the only hire anyone can justify making.

No assistants. No retreads. No has-beens.

 

And, no bammers.

 

I want a competent AD that doesn’t get his chain yanked. That’s been a big part of the dysfunction.

The jump we just made in quality and competence at the AD position is absurd.

 

White meeting with the players and having them talk openly about what they want and need is a fantastic start. Theyve been hung out to dry and he immediately reminds them how important they are. Additionally, hes asking them to vote on a panel of players to represent and communicate.

 

So we're on board as UCF as 2017 National Champs, right?

 

As if... They beat Auburn, right??
