evidently he was running with the last group in spring. We do need some big time lbs. maybe Herring can be a player. imo with the new offenses, the dominant HS run stopper lb may struggle to adapt having to cover TEs and slots and runs running all over the field. Lbs have to read, anticipate and cover a lot more than the old 4/3 base defense reads vs pro style offenses.
He also ran into some trouble and I believe has a kid too. You just never know what all is going on. Lots of big, fast kids out there.
Nothing against him but it always felt like a major point of his appeal was that the previous staff wanted to use him as a way to get their foot in the door of that region.
He had three or four power 5 defensive linemen playing in front of him in high school. He wasn't blocked
Is that right? When he committed I was impressed with his speed to the ball carrier and ability to find lanes. We’ll see where he winds up.
So a Ohio State DB from Murfeesboro transferred in, if anyone else is as slow to understanding as I am.
This guy kills me. I can understand being skeptical of Heupel, I think we all have some level too. but still stanning the damn Gump is just crazy to me
And what does it even matter? He was fired because we got caught paying players. And he won 2 damn games. "talk more technical?" The [uck fay]? Who gives a shit about that?
