23 NCAA Tournament Thread

Every year, Michigan State has the most pedestrian regular season imaginable and then they become the Showtime Lakers in the tournament.

 

They're one of the top 3 point-shooting teams in the country. Seems inevitable Joey Hauser would go off on us. They're struggling big time now but still winning.

 

Do we match up with K State or Sparty better?

 

Marquette is better and you should want Mich St to win.

 

Spartans running away with it only shooting 12% from 3.

 

How did Sparty get five extra FGs and five extra FTs while only being +2 on the offensive glass and +3 turnovers? A lot of and-ones?

 

So K State or Michigan State? Both were about even on the season. Michigan State with HOF coach and Joey Hauser. KState with a Keyonte Johnson and their small, dynamic pg.

We got more tournament wins this weekend than Kentucky has had the last 4 years.

 

I don't see anything from FDU which suggests they can hang tonight.

 

This FDU/FAU game is hard to watch

 

You think the #16 seed that only got in because their conference champ was too new to D-1 isn't Sweet 16 material?

 

I do not.

I also see FAU as the type of team which gives us a bit of trouble, a fast team who will chuck up a bunch of threes, Missouri-like.

 

This looks like an AAU game

 

We handled Missouri’s threes alright the second time around, we just couldn’t stop Brown and that other guy just driving the paint and backing us into the basket.

Protecting the ball without Zeigler was another thing entirely.

 

FAU isn't very impressive

 

FAU probably thought they’d be in a David v Goliath game. But they never thought they’d be Goliath.
