Meh, I've got no problem with him, and I've stated such on multiple occasions. He might have a vastly opposing opinion on certain issues, but he usually at least states his reasons as to why.

How does one comment about a good player lend any worthwhile support?

A player can both have a good day, and have a team lose big.

It does not provide support, or remove support because the two are not tied by anything other than a generalization. If you had said, "TAMU wins by two touchdowns BECAUSE of Noil," then the two are tied.

Yours are two separate statements that are not dependent upon each other. And that makes you a great troll, no denying that. That doesn't make your prediction serious.
