I'd bet all 3 used hgh. we shall see if peyton's performance starts dropping later in the season now that they are finally starting to test for it starting next month.
Even peyton knows the truth: “Somebody—Aaron Rodgers, maybe, or one of the other great quarterbacks—has a good shot to break it,” Manning says.
The way the NFL is set up now, there are no passing records that will be out of reach. Now, Emmit Smith's record will be nigh untouchable.
He got a late start and seems to get killed semi-regularly. I doubt he'll have the necessary longevity.
I doubt it to, but I agree the NFL rules mean almost anyone can break it as long as they are around long enough
Peyton's career would probably be a pretty good measuring stick as to how rules have affected the passing game. He's been around forever and has been pretty good for almost his entire career.
In an amazing turn of events in this thread, completely unforeseen by any board member here, droski and hat show up trying to dimish yet another Peyton Manning accomplishment. We probably won't see something like this again until at least the next appearance of Halley's Comet.
given the fact he broke a record of a guy absolutely no one thinks is the goat, I'm not sure what reaction from this accomplishment you expect?
absolutely ridiculous. Rodgers is already better than favre ever was. even if you ignore favre throwing int's like a crazy person late in his career, Rodgers is still significantly better and has already surpassed everything favre did.
That's...............................debatable. Favre's numbers in the mid to late 90s were pretty dang impressive for the game at the time.
Rodgers winning percentage 65 percent Favre 62.4 On top of every qb stat metric possible being infinitely better
In a pass-happy league? You expect otherwise? Also, first 6 years as starter - Favre - 64 wins, Rodgers - 61 wins
