Better Call Saul... Premieres tonight and tomorrow. Excited about this prequel. One of my favorite characters from Breaking Bad.
I didn't watch. I like the premise of the show, but fear it won't have the same vibe as Breaking Bad.
I really think this show is picking up its own identity. It started a little slow but i'm liking it a little more each week.
Yes, I don't even think about Breaking Bad when watching it anymore. Vince Gilligan seems to be really good at what he does.
He managed to make a junkie and a sleazy ambulance chaser into sympathetic characters in 2 different television shows
Now X-files is coming back for 6 episodes with David Duchovny returning on Fox. Another show Gilligan worked on.
Ya, it has a unique vibe all it's own. Still has that "amazing storyteller" presentation as Breaking Bad, too. And we are starting to see similarities in the paths of Saul and Walter. Good guys who decide to do bad things for sometimes good reasons.
SPOILER ALERT: When they're turning in the Kettleman's money and Mike asks "What are you doing?" and Saul, with a disgusted looks mumbles "the right thing", it kind of sums up the whole first season.
