The pressure is going to eat him alive.

 

If Shoop were to come in as an interim coach and sweep the terrible teams at the end of the schedule, a bunch of the idiots will be calling for the interim tag to be removed. While it sounds stupid now, I have little doubt that there are some people in power who would prefer to go the cheap, conservative route rather than spending money and trying to win. And if it can remotely be sold to the fan base, they may just push for it.

 

I guess you haven't watched any games this year.

 

Georgia has been pretty sloppy.

 

Some on here could well-expound on this idea, if they chose to do so - but the average fan has zero idea as to how genuinely, deeply, perpetually, and sincerely emotionally fragile Butch Jones really is, and how tenuously he holds it together, sometimes.

People have no idea, and likely don't need to know.

 

These next 4 games will show a lot. It will start if we lose to Florida on Saturday.

How more people, even the most ardently orange Kool-Aid drinkers, didn't better equate Hart's "process" of hiring Tyndall, with the means by which he hired Jones, is just beyond me.

You learned all that you needed to know about Hart in his hiring of Tyndall to see the grotesque level of incompetence in his leadership.

And everybody except apparently DH knew that Tyndall was shady too.

 

Hart could have vetted Tyndall here, in the course of only a few PM's.

 

Do I have reason to believe things will be much better (yes, I realize it can't be much worse) if Blackburn is hired or should I assume a complete overhaul is needed to fix their issues?

I mean, even Jim Rome is calling the Vols the Cleveland Browns of the NCAA. Bad.
