That's why I referenced that and wonder if Blackburn would be handcuffed in his decision making.

 

I believe he has enough chumminess with all of the boosters that it won't be an issue.

 

I can't believe DH thought hiring a guy who got caught breaking rules at Morehead St was the best option for the program

Jim Rome is an ignorant self-aggrandizing douchenozzle. I hate his schtick.

But under Hart, he's not entirely wrong.

 

Some here, and several elsewhere, know and have shared some things with myself and others in private conversation. It's all third-hand hearsay to me, and I neither want to purport any first-hand knowledge of it, nor to betray any confidence, particularly in speaking for those others, here, and who can share what they like, or not.

There are at least 5 - 10 people here who could intelligently expound on Jones' mental / emotional makeup, and his disposition of late, if they chose to do so (pro tip: you know them all). I'm not going to speak when they seem content to remain silent.

I'm not an insider, but if a person's head doubles as a human mood ring, they are not emotionally well, imo.

 

Are we talking about something deeper than what meets the eye? And I mean the eye of the average 8th member, not the average fan.

 

It would be hard to believe Blackburn would take the job without some assurances that he can make his own decisions. Any potentially good AD would make that the first question in the interview.
