A friend of mine who is in the athletic training program at IU texted me today and told me his friend, who is a big UF fan, saw coach Dooley at IU's football practice. Anyone have any idea why he would be there?
Doing his practicum in his Master's program of sucking. Or, more likely, do some legwork on his doctoral dissertation. If he's at IU, I assume that his next stop is Lindsey Lohan's beach bungalow / home jail, to snag some pointers on life-management skills.
Don't think they have a GA opening on their staff at the moment. Maybe something in the film or equipment rooms?
Which is exactly why I have a hard time understanding why Charlie Weis went there. I mean its probably gonna take years to rebuild that job.
Plenty of surplus sideline clothing from a few years back. If Muschamp doesn't show some marked improvement this year, there are going to be a lot of comparisons to Herr Dooley.
I don't get all the Dooley hate. The man has greatly improved our team's shower discipline. It was a big problem. I am amazed it only took two years to change the shower mindset and atmosphere of the Vols. Give him time folks. Saban needed a little time to win championships. Let's be patient. Perhaps in the next four or five seasons we can address some actual football techniques. Next thing you know, in eight to ten seasons we may actually contend for third place in the East. Baby steps guys. Baby steps.
Or his hair. That's some damn fine man locks. I bet he brushes it with 200 brush strokes every night before he goes to bed. On the Field Marshall deal: He reminds me more of Colonel Klink than he does Erwin Rommel.
