Optimism Thread

I honestly have no idea what West Virginia fans are like / the dynamic of their followers. Is the southern portion of the state partially Tech fans? Is the mountain people stereotype accurate or are they more like Pennsylvania steel town types? I kind of think that if I went to the game they’d seem more like an NFL fan crowd than a college crowd.

 

They are rednecks

 

UM fans want to fight regardless of who wins. They don't even really watch the games, all 2307 of them.

 

There just needs to be a couch burning contest pregame and get it over with.

 

West Virginia fans are wild asses that like to burn things, win or lose. They are much closer to SEC fans than TAMU or Mizzou ever thought about being.

 

I always believed WVU should have been invited in than stupid Mizzou. Mizzou is dumb as an SEC team.

 

Meh. Losers at yankee schools burn couches. Definitely better fit than Missouri though.

 

They also don't have sorority chants like TAMU. They're hillbillies

 

I've always thought A&M is an SEC school, albeit a cultish one.

But yeah, WVU is 1,000,000,000 times more SEC than Missouri.

 

Yep. Their cult is weird but I think by and large they fit in.

 

The SEC took Missouri for the TV market.

 

A&M makes Auburn seem normal

 

Missouri has no business in the SEC. No tradition, no facilities, and doesn’t make geographical common sense.
