If ratified by all countries, NAFTA will be repealed and replaced by the USMCA - a big promise fulfilled by Trump. Wins for auto workers, big pharma, huge for dairy - and even helps unions! Bigly. Link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ny...siness/trump-nafta-usmca-differences.amp.html

I'm for not artificially raising the cost of making a car, so that desirable cars are no longer sold here and all we get are bloated infotainment centers where the driver has less and less interaction with actually driving the car.
I would much rather pay an Accord to drive me to the grocery, human driver or auto, than drive myself in an Audi. I’ve done it multiple times, 100% sober, just because I’m lazy. Give me shitty cars with automation over a luxury car I have to drive myself 100 days/100.
Part of the reason cars are so expensive now is, we need gauges to tell us our tires are low, and cameras at every angle so we don't back into a shopping cart.
Labor Force Participation Rate still isn't improving with all of these added jobs. I know that wages are going up because there's a demand for labor but there's still a huge chunk of our population that doesn't want to get off the sidelines.
You have to add new features for the designers and engineers to be needed. Otherwise...................... (I do love my backup camera on my truck.)
