Tennessee - 30 Alabama - 28 This is the reality I choose to live in until approximately 4:15 on Saturday.
Alabama would have to have their first bad game and Tennessee would have to play even better than last Saturday.
I just remember Saban starting the game in 2007 (that we were fully expecting to win) with an onside kick and then proceeding to kick the shit out of us. That game really got the Bama train rolling and I want Saturday’s game to be the one where folks stand up and take notice that UT football is back. The Auburn game was nice but beating Bama is the benchmark by which our program has been and will be measured. Let us start this Saturday.
Im not a hope somebody gets hurt or can't play because they are in anyway. But if something happens to Tua and Saban has game planned all week around him, their passing game will take a substantial step back when Hurts comes in for every down. Is that enough for UT to win? Probably not without UT still playing out of their mind in all 3 phases and the injury taking a mental toll on Bama.
Well, if I get to pick the score, I think something like 100-0 Vols sounds pretty nice. Fourteen touchdowns and a safety.
There's going to be ton of baby boys born in the state of Tennessee named Jarrett next July because of Saturday.
We've never been thinking more clearly. We're about to beat Bama by Tua touchdowns. Bet it Hurts their playoff chances.
If by some miracle, we can pull out a W, I hope all 105k fans start a predators style, “Buuutch. Buuutch. Buuuutch. You Suck! It’s all your fault, it’s all your fault.” chant. I could die a happy man if that were to happen.
