Missed FT - bounces right to Auburn guy. Missed layup - bounces right back to the shooter. They get so many lucky bounces. And it seems like they lead to easy points so often.
This is the 7th game in a row that Auburn has hit at least 12 threes. The first game they go cold will be when they go home, but it hasn’t happened yet...
Auburn’s strategy for post “defense” is to hold the [uck fay] out of the guy their opponent is trying to get it to in the post. Then, if their opponent still manages to get the ball into the post, their new strategy is to foul the [uck fay] outta the guy and hope the refs don’t call it. Kinda wish we’d throw Walker in there and have him try it.
FWIW re: Purdue/Nova - I watch Nova a lot, and yesterday was the worst game they've played in 2 year. Purdue played great, but Nova helped.
I picked Buffalo in this one, I think. Big 12 was bad this year. This Texas Tech team is looking good right now though.
Buffalo is a team that that I would in no way want to play in 1 game in March but can't comfortably pick them past 1 game either.
I think for me, it came down to thinking both Michigan and TTU were a bit overrated and having to pick between Buffalo and Nevada to get to the Elite 8. I think I went 1/2 in the Elite 8 in every other regional, but in this one, I’ve got Buffalo playing Florida State.
I picked Duke to win it all in our bracket challenge, but I wouldn’t be the least bit upset if they stumbled this early. Think of the collective meltdown if Zion goes out in the round of 32.
