Reminds me of some of the folks I've worked with/for in the past. They have a crappy workplace, tour some other facility that has had their crap together for a decade or more, and come back wanting their place to look even better (because of some baseless, empty platitude that's as false as it is unrelated to the needed change) in three month's time or less. They aren't going to be Clemson next year.
don't expect Clemson. Just saying, if a top college football coach, one who has beaten Saban twice in championship games, speaks about how they count on their qb scrambling and wrs getting open for big plays, it couldn't hurt. Its harder on the defense. Could just be a simple step up then out of the pocket and let a wr get open.
Wideouts are apparently looking great. Palmer is the standout so far. Only balls the big 3 (JJ, Callaway and Palmer) are dropping are the ones that no one could catch. Also coaches are really excited about Gray. If we can get a serviceable line this year we will have a good year on that side of the ball.
Yep. Just have a lot better feel about what we will see under Chaney with what is now on the roster. The OL is not gonna be great but it shouldn't be such a problem that your biggest victory is the QB being able to walk off the field under his own power.
Agreed. Chaney will play to the strength of the OL whatever that might be, instead of trying to force a system that will not work with the current personnel.
LB corp not looking good or deep right now. Peterson a no show for a week and some prior. Crouch struggling and Kirkland likely done.
