I’m not really sure why we are wondering about his policy ideas. Nothing specific but it’ll be left. Just like a lot of people thought Obama was something special and different when i at least knew what he’d be. Don’t really care much about the gay thing. I’d also prefer the president not screw around on his wife but that hasn’t exactly been uncommon
He's been getting attacked from the right and left lately, which is a good sign. This is an excellent counter to one of the attacks around his 1,000 homes in 1,000 days initiative in South Bend. How the Media Is Getting Mayor Pete’s Gentrification Story Wrong
Yep, South Bend has always been a shit hole. He hasn't done much to fix that and I really don't think any mayor could.
all because I can't repair my transmission doesn't mean I can't drive. his constituents seem to be pleased with his efforts and progress. Constructing and building anything takes more time and skill than breaking something. you can do nothing and something will eventually collapse.
That’s not an apt analogy. A better one would be: 1. I’m not good at fixing small, easily managed, largely unimportant and unnoticeably simple transmissions. 2. Please hire me to fix the largest, most intricately unwieldy, and most important important transmission in existence, and on the biggest stage, under the brightest lights, and where the many have most at stake. My apologies to GCB, but that this guy was even noticed says more about the current state of the Dems, than it does about him.
Dooley's relative performance was much worse. Virtually all high level coaches started out somewhere small and had relative success there first. I.e. Nick Saban came from Kent State? must be awful.
Saban didn’t jump from Kent State to Alabama. And the distance between those two jobs, sizable as it is, still pales in comparison to that which lies between small-town mayor and President.
