Things change with us and them. It's kind of silly to argue predictions. Let's just see how the season rolls. Pruitt's the first real football coach we've had since Fulmer's good years (I don't count Kiffin cause he didn't stay long enough to have a positive impact). Pruitt also has an edge about him, we'll see if the team reflects it. If they do I think we're going to be pleased even if the final record isn't what we wanted. Bowl game is minimum expectation or GTFO.
We would need a Donald Trump equivalent coach to pull 9 wins out of our asses this year. I'm talking a once in a lifetime type, change the way we think about football type coach.
When the vandys and Kentucky's have multiple nfl picks over a 2/3 year span and you have zero, they have better players and a better team. Sucks but thats what it is. Get some nfl talent performing on the field and it wont happen anymore. Keep having 0 draft picks each year and keep getting whipped.
I like Bill Clark and UAB's story, but: "Clark heads into 2019 replacing his leading passer, his top four wideouts, four starting offensive linemen, all three starting defensive linemen, four of his top five linebackers, and four of his top seven defensive backs" https://www.sbnation.com/college-fo...536/uab-football-2019-preview-schedule-roster
Yes they did. We could handle their QB, who wasnt comparable to the ability of Lock and the Vandy kid who threw for800 yards in 2 years on us.
I respect UAB enough to say it's possible, but the only way is if we have it F it mode by that time. I do hope their starting QB struggles this year so Hopkins can take over though. BYU still concerns me.
