If Pruitt is doing his job correctly then he already has a deal in place with either Craig Kuligowski or Tosh Lupoi to take over for Rocker as dline coach in December.
Having roomed with an AE major as an undergrad, the thought of taking those classes while playing football, especially QB, is insane to me. Dobbs must be able to go days at a time without sleep.
In Butch’s defense, Ferguson was a great QB. All he needed was good coaching and a less-than-moronic offensive system.
Austin Thomas would have had a huge impact here but Fulmer was not going to give him the latitude he wanted. It was a bad move by Fulmer and Pruitt. Imo
https://atozsportsnashville.com/word-killed-austin-thomas-deal-tennessee/ Is being a GM still a demand?
He's a slightly OCD guy that knows everyone and takes care of organizing any and everything to do with recruiting, from who to target, how to target them, visits, travel to and from campus all that good stuff. He learned under Fulmer and Kiffin, not necessarily the dirty stuff, but the organizational stuff. Who's important in the recruit's life? Mom, dad, coach, grandma, grandpa or whoever. What's the kid want to be? What connection does the people close to the recruit have with anyone on staff?
