2021 season thread

Tennessee needs depth. Hadden, Turnage, Tremblay and Terry were transfers that played a lot of snaps and kept this defense serviceable at times. Get 4 or 5 more that do the same along with a decent recruiting class and it gets Tennessee competitive quicker.

But yeah, there's a big talent gap overall between Tennessee's defense and the teams they're chasing

 

Jackson being mentored by Hooker for a year would be huge.

 

Yeah. We’re not catching Bama and UGA through the portal but I think we could make a big enough splash to separate from Mizzou and SCe. Florida is Florida.

 

Dillon Gabriel is in the portal. He may be someone we go hard after if Hooker moves on to the NFL.

 

Gabriel was the one who made a big fuss on social media over Heupel leaving UCF without telling the team goodbye. I’d be stunned if he came here. I think he ends up at Ole Miss

 

Time heals a lot. He really likes Heupel.

 

He only goes to Ole piss if Lebby sticks around.

Yeah I don’t see Hooker getting a great NFL grade this year, but another year to build off of this season and I think he’ll definitely get drafted.

If Tillman comes back we could have two candidates.
