Orange Bowl

I've watched fewer bowl games this year than I can ever recall.

 

I hope to see him have come Clempson soul crushing runs with defensive backs pissing themselves saying, "I hope that he does not come my way"

 

Actually several of them have been better than expected. And my sports joy meter flat lines after CFB season. It’s a long 8 mo. So I have to get my fix

 

Throw the deep ball over the middle and left. He hits those with much greater frequency than the right.

 

Much more good orange here than bad orange so far.

 

Same. I popped in for OT of the Liberty Bowl and caught a few minutes of a few others here and there, but I’ve just not been that engaged. But that’s probably less on the bowls and more on me just being busier than usual. At any rate, makes it feel like the off-season, so it’s weird thinking we’re in a major bowl tonight.

 

Obviously not feeling good about this one tonight.

 

I don’t necessarily expect a win considering most of our studs aren’t playing, but I keep telling myself I’m not going to be worked up by a loss. Part of me is just happy to be in a marquee “BCS bowl” for once. For those of us in their late 20s and younger like myself, tonight is the grandest Bowl setting we’ve ever seen our beloved Vols participate in. I’m excited to see how it all unfolds. Just gonna try to enjoy the evening either way

 

Uh oh. Cue the “muh Peyton jinxes us” crowd.

 

Naw, we broke that jinx.

 

All curses were broken this year.

 

Still kinda wish we were going dark mode tonight.

 

Oof, Flowers and Turnage are out. We could really use some depth on defense to start stepping up like now.

 

Turnage is a loss, Flowers might be a net gain.

 

Holy hell, we are going to get lit up in the secondary. What bodies are left?

 

God damn it feels good to see us back in a bowl game like this.

 

I might have a game in me if they can get me down there fast enough
