I don’t hear shit, but I’m in the camp of the only way that happens is if Milton opts to not play which wouldn’t make any sense to me.
If you were responding to me, then I would suggest that Joe’s track record was largely defined prior to the Bowl last year. Plenty of snaps and film opportunities. Nico has hardly played much less started for 2 Power 5 teams.
It never needed to be said at all. I just don’t agree. That’s it. I disagree. If you need to see more Joe that’s fine. I don’t.

Seems like Milton has as much to gain as he does to lose by playing, but I don’t know what’s driving his decision. Regardless, not the ideal matchup for your first start but wouldn’t it be awesome if he Nico just lit them up.
Milton is a VFL. He really did handle every situation that arose as well as you could hope for. Needed better play but it is what it is. Wasn’t near the worst I’ve seen at UT by any stretch. Looked worse after what Hooker did, imo. Great teammate. Set a great example and represented us well.
I don't blame him. An injury in a meaningless bowl game could be disaster for his NFL hopes. I would bet Hooker and him had a long talk.
I mean, his statement doesn’t specifically say “I’m opting out, I’m not going to play”, etc. how hilarious would it be if everybody is all fired up and he trots out there and plays the whole game
