I cannot [uck fay]ing believe we threw that into Aidoo on that first 1 and 1.

 

Ugly game. On the plus side, usually when we have a game like this we play out of our minds for the next 4 or 5 games.

 

“Defense travels” finally paying off. Hopefully the offense shows up next time out.

Isn’t that what we said last week? Hard to believe we could shoot this poorly again, but at the same time, maybe it’s not.

 

That [uck fay]ing bullshit goaltending rule almost cost us.

 

One bright side:

Good performances from Gainey and Tobe off the bench. Gainey limited his shots and did everything else well. Tobe gave us a spark, and we probably would have seen him more down the stretch, but I assume they were saving him for potential OT (since he had 4 fouls).

 

Winning after shooting like that could be a big weight off. It’s not talked about much, but some of these guys or the whole team can want it for Barnes too much. Maybe that was part of it tonight and we got past it.
