I always sucked so it seems just normal to me.

 

DK and ZZ not playing good and us winning is a story.

 

at times we would struggle to get good shots and offense looked rough. We had open shots all night tonight.

 

We had plenty of open shots, but Texas was putting in work on defense too.

 

And didn't look tired, all the while playing balls to the wall. Dude is superhuman.

 

That one guy did the "too short" thing like opponents always do, after scoring on him, and it was like... Dude. Don't. Don't poke the bear.

 

I think I want Creighton over Oregon. Oregon is more athletic. I’d rather face the less athletic team.

Damn, I didn’t remember Carolina shooting that poorly against Gonzaga. Going 4-27 from three in the national title game and still winning is actually quite amazing.

 

Basilio just dropped a crazy stat. Teams that have shot as bad as us tonight in the history of NCAA tourney were like 0-66 or something. Holy shit.

 

Tonight was more like the Michigan game (minus Dickinson) and less like Oregon State or Florida Atlantic, where our sets just got stagnant. Sometimes the shots don’t go in. I don’t know why it’s in the round of 32.

Could be that teams have a false sense of confidence from Round 1 but don't have the stakes or the prize in sight like they do in the Sweet 16 and beyond.

He had some bad plays, but he drives the entire offense, and even more so when we aren’t making shots. He creates such a high percentage of our offense.

 

I think ZZ played well over all. Shot it poorly and was a little loose with the ball, but he was the only thing creating offense for us the entire night, and he was a menace on defense.
