Rodney is apparently really happy with the pieces he has on the Dline.

 

There is a swagger coming from the defense. This could be a big year for the program.

 

I’m thinking we get it to about 8-0 and then the rest of college football just shuts it down because they realize it’s pointless

 

The dline can go 3 deep without much of a drop-off outside of Pearce, who's a top 15 draft pick.

 

And the drop off after Pearce is still probably better than a lot/most teams.

 

Its probably been almost 20 years since we could do that. Feels right

 

I've seen Pearce as high as a top 3 draft pick in a couple of mocks.

 

Surely we can get another running back, it seems like there are going to be a lot of carries available in games being salted away.

 

Hayden entered the portal from Ohio State but idk if we're really involved or if it's just a link because of legacy

 

I think grabbing another one be a good idea but Cameron should be back by the time we really need the depth.

 

There's going to be 4 scholarship RBs until Seldon comes back...they may not want one

 

Two of them are missing Spring because of shoulder surgery, though. Seems a bit risky.

It's as solid as it has been since '04 and as deep as it's been since '01.
