I said this was all a ploy to gather information? Oh, you confuse upside with reason.

If this becomes a backdoor way to generate a form of national ID for illegal immigrant, you don't think that has potential benefit?

We're pretty good an internment camps

  4. Corporations are the only people we allow to not pay taxes. If immigrants don't pay taxes they're bad though.

They aren't here legally, right now. This is a step... to get them to become... legal. Which means, to remain legal, they have to start doing the things they aren't doing. Such as paying taxes.

IDing them, help. Tracking them, helps. Finding who they work for, helps. Is that guy paying them legit, or under the table?

This helps form a network. You get networking, right? Now think about it in larger terms.

Let the free market take care of it. Gov't intrusion is bad.

Why are illegals being provided the privilege of driving here legally?

    This remind me -

Your work as a troll is starting to spring some leaks. I'd true up whether you are a professional, college student, and other stuff. Just FYI.

Or... we're dangling a carrot so we can give them the stick.

If you have no intention of becoming legal, but you find that you can still manage to hang around, do work, get paid, live decently (comparatively), and if you get deported, you come back... what's your incentive?

But if you can be nudged along toward becoming legal, and once you are legal, then subject to strict law enforcement, not simple deportation, and if you wish to maintain that status, you fall in line.

This is part of the nudge.

Got me, Virginia was the same way then after 9/11 the dmw over reacted

The illegals in Virginia just go to Maryland and get a license

we can't afford for them to become legal.

  13. I'm not trolling. Not sure how both cannot be true.

FTR I've returned to college after working. You know there are professional jobs that don't require degrees, don't you. Of course you don't. Believe what you want.

even the biggest libertarians out there believe in border security and the police. by your theory we should allow people to kill people in the streets as well.
