No - I don't think so. There were rumblings that he wanted that timetable so I'll be comfortable until we get into next week.

Yeah, we've heard that there was a plan in place, a time frame to follow, there would be a quick fire/hire turnaround, etc. If it doesn't happen before the weekend, I'll start leaning towards this playing out like last time.

 

It may drag out longer than anybody wants if Gruden is as concerned about appearing to not be the reason Butch was fired as has been indicated in the past. It's pretty much obvious to me that he was getting the ax regardless, but who knows the mind of others?

 

But if that timeline originally assumed Butch would survive through LSU then this throws a kink in the quick turnaround.
