He is certainly not what we all wanted. But I am coming around to the idea of what some have said that if he hires a solid defensive staff he could win here. His offense will be fine.
He probably stays at Okie ST. If he were to show up, he must hire an elite d coordinator and a super lead recruiter. Would Thomas from LSU come? Does he really want to come back to Tennessee?
Hard to judge anyone at this point. QBs have been coached by watching Tom Emanski baseball instructional videos and linemen watched the Annexation of Puerto Rico from Little Giants for coaching.
Heard and read that Peyton is not backing this, but other VFL's are behind it. As of this afternoon, no one in the AD had talked to Tee. I am afraid this may turn into an issue if you know what I mean(like Haynesworth tried to start y-day). Anyone know if there are ill feelings between Peyton and Tee? I can say one thing Peyton does seem to be making new friends during all this.
https://www.bing.com/search?q=jeff+...46aea40fbc5942ea69a4c89ec&cc=US&setlang=en-US This is where I read Brohm told us,"No." But this article may be crap because I have not heard one word about Richt. He is not leaving Miami. I had also heard Brohm said no on a couple of the sport's talk shows, today.
It's criminal he's allowed to remain employed after 10pm Sunday night. He should have no involvement in a hire.
I want to be more excited. I think he's, at worst, a good coach who can have success here (although that's dependent on certain things). I know that if we don't get him, the search is likely heading for disaster. But I'm just not that enthusiastic. I feel cheated, and I'm still not really confident we'll be ending the title droughts or the Alabama streak any time soon. I freely admit it's because I can't get Gruden out of my head, and I still don't completely buy he wouldn't take the job.
