Official 2018 8th Maxim Fantasy Football League Thread

3 of the top 4 scorers missed the playoffs.

 

That sucks for those 7-7 guys. Especially the one that led the league. S/he had a healthy lead.

What league is this?

 

In three leagues this year including this one and lost all three of my playoff games last weekend. Brutal.

How many times have we met in the playoffs, TT? Seems like every year almost. I missed at least once though

 

I’m not sure. I remember matchups in the playoffs with you and Randy though.

We both underperformed last night so we go into today about where we started yesterday, spread wise.

Nothing like putting up my lowest point total of the season in the championship game. I scored less than half the number of points I did last week....pretty incredible.

 

Thanks. It's a crap shoot in general, and especially in the playoffs. I thought I was boned without my star player.

I am happy with my success in this league. It's the only one I play in.

 

I was 3/6 as for leagues/championship games.

I’m good in 2/3 ‘ship games, with a small shot at the third (after being projected to win).

 

Thanks to the Eagles D, I won all 3 championship games.

 

But not this one. Don't steal my glory, bruh.

The league has been renewed with all teams from last year. If any manager does not wish to or cannot participate, please inform me asap so someone else can have a turn.

There have been a few changes by Yahoo, the most significant being adding a flex position of WR/RB dropping one WR. I have decided to keep three WR's. I Also added a defensive back and lineman position, dropping the position of defensive player for a net gain of two players on the rosters.

The draft will be Sunday Sept. 2 at 8:00 pm.

Was the intent to get LBs out of the mix?

 

No, just wanted to add a defensive player. >I thought about adding a L B, I can still do so.

 

Did we not have an individual defensive player last year (S,DB, or DL)? Or was that my other league?

 

I recall that we did.
